C.L. Parker’s practice concentrates on general commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts, with particular emphasis on complex commercial disputes, indemnity disputes, purchaser and supplier disputes, mass tort defense and product liability litigation, and dietary supplement litigation. She has extensive experience representing major insurance firms in various types of litigation. She also has defended multi-party, class action litigation and various forms of dispute resolution with an emphasis on insurance and dietary supplement companies.  C.L. also provides clients with counseling on preventative litigation strategies, and advises policyholders on a wide variety of insurance and risk management matters.

C.L. advises clients with respect to all types of insurance policies and all matters of claims, including commercial liability, all risk, property, directors and officers, crime, employment, environmental errors and omissions policies.  She handles property loss and business interruption claims, and she has been retained by companies to assist with insurance strategies in situations where large numbers of cases and class actions, such as consumer class actions and other toxic tort litigations have been filed.  C.L. also counsels clients on review of their insurance programs and adequacy of coverage’s. She also represents clients in a variety of mass tort and product liability matters.  For example, she has represented major pharmaceutical and dietary supplement companies involved in class action consumer fraud cases.

Prior to joining the Law Office of Arthur W. Leach, C.L. spent more than six years in the litigation department at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP , one of the Georgia’s premier litigation firms. During her tenure at Swift Currie, C.L.’s practice consisted of a wide variety of complex civil litigation and insurance issues. C.L. received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and graduated summa cum laude, first honor, and is a graduate of the University of Georgetown Law Center.

C.L. also works as part of the Law Office of Arthur W. Leach’s class action defense team and one of the most experienced practices focusing on dietary supplements in the United States. C.L and the team focuses from day one on defeating class certification. But C.L. also understand that there are many ways to resolve a class action successfully, whether by obtaining summary judgment, trying a case to verdict, winning on appeal, or—when the circumstances demand—negotiating a satisfactory settlement. C.L. has successfully litigated cases asserting potentially high-exposure claims in jurisdictions considered the most hostile to corporate defendants. C.L. understands that not all class actions can be handled alike, and she take great pride in partnering with clients to develop and then execute strategies tailored to their needs and the specific circumstances they encounter.
